The University Hotel has two cafes. C-Java located on the 2nd floor of the hotel and the University Hotel Café @ Raven Nest is located at the Raven Nest Golf Course.

University Hotel is committed to offering our guest, faculty ,staff and students at Sam Houston State University a fresh, healthy alternative to the usual restaurant-chain food.

CJava

Come and enjoy a relaxing dining experience at CJava, conveniently located on level two of the University Hotel. CJava is a bistro style coffee bar that serves specialty, free-trade/organic, and locally roasted coffees, lattes, and espresso, as well as tea, smoothies, and a large variety of non-coffee beverages.

The CJava menu also offers a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items. For breakfast, we serve a selection of freshly baked kolaches, donuts, muffins, eggs, and fresh fruits, while our lunch menu includes salads, pasta, hamburgers, and specialty wraps and sandwiches prepared on homemade bread that is baked daily on site. CJava offers group catering for our in-house guests as well, to groups as small as 4 people up to as large as 100 people.

In addition to great food and beverages, CJava provides free wireless internet access and several computer workstations. Whether you want to just sit back and unwind with a delicious cup of coffee and a good book, or grab a quick meal while studying or catching up on emails, CJava is the place for great coffee, food, and atmosphere.

CJava is open for breakfast and lunch every weekday starting at 7.00 a.m.

Raven Nest

Come relax in the University Hotel Café @ Raven Nest located right next to the pro shop after an enjoyable round of golf with friends. Our cafe lets you choose from a wide selection of sandwiches, salads and desserts. Our Cafe menu offers something to suit all tastes!

Enjoy our new Beverage and Snack Cart, which will be available to you while you are playing golf. Purchase a light snack and a cool drink while on the course and add to the enjoyment of your round.

The University Hotel Café staff is ready to work with you in planning your banquet or outing with a variety of menu options. Give us a heads up and we'll have your group's lunch ready for you on the turn.
